The
KONI METERis a mechanical measuring device for determining
the friction (adhesive force) of cone crowns. It is easy to use and enables the measurement of friction between primary crowns and secondary crowns.
The KONI METER was developed to determine the optimal adhesive force of this fit. With it, the user is able to rule out the risk of emotional assessment and instead determine the effective adhesive forces when placing and removing crowns.
Clinical experience was decisive for determining the measuring points and ranges of the KONI METER for the contact force and the scale of the pulling force.
